Our Field Staff

LA's BEST has always recruited from the communities in which its program sites are located. This "close to home" approach means our staff not only care very much about the futures of our children, but also are geographically and culturally rooted to the neighborhoods in which they work. And they stay: LA's BEST has among the lowest turnover rates of program staff in after school programs nationwide.

Site staff include site coordinators (1 per site), on-site staff (1 adult for every 20 children), and traveling program supervisors and activities consultants (assigned to clusters of 5 to 6 program sites).
