Rugby Summer Cup with PRUSA
18 LA's BEST teams competed in the Play Rugby Summer Cub with Play Rugby USA (PRUSA) at Wilson High School. The kids played flag rugby games and cooled off in the sprinklers!

NFL Players Association Visit
As part of a four-day event with the top 40 NFL rookies of the current NFL draft class, 20 of the athletes led workouts and skills demonstrations to students in LA's BEST.

This year, Lubov & Max Azria of BCBGMAXAZRIA are being honored at the LA's BEST 25th Anniversary Gala. LA's BEST students from Hooper Elementary were invited for a private tour of BCBGMAXAZRIA offices to learn about every stage of design and production.

Edible Garden at Los Feliz
After months of attentive gardening, students from Los Feliz Elementary School’s LA's BEST After School Program showed off their green thumbs to Assemblymember Mike Gatto and staff from the American Chemistry Council (ACC). The hands-on lesson on healthy eating began last December through a partnership with ACC and dozens of students from the LA’s BEST After School Enrichment Program at Los Feliz Elementary.
