Amber Holley Melius named Board Chair of LA’s BEST Friends
Six new members join young professionals board

LOS ANGELES — LA’s BEST is proud to welcome Amber Holley Melius as the new Board Chair for LA’s BEST Friends. Ms. Melius previously held the position of Vice Chair and is supported in her new role by Senior Vice Chair Melanie Marconi and Junior Chair Jordan Kaye. Together, they lead the dynamic young professionals board made up of 24 dedicated individuals. Under Ms. Melius’s leadership, six new members join the BEST Friends board this year – Matt Clemo, Paul Keltner, David Lessoff, Michael Lynn, Claire Nilsson, and Julie Paluch.
LA's BEST Friends supports the LA's BEST After School Enrichment Program by connecting diverse young professionals and students to each other and their communities through volunteering, fundraising, public outreach and community building. During fiscal year 2011/2012, BEST Friends hosted two signature fundraising events as well as monthly volunteer opportunities. Through their efforts, the group raised over $230,000 for LA’s BEST.
