UnWINEd with LA's BEST (2011)
More than 600 LA's BEST supporters helped raise over $68,000 for 28,000 kids! The annual wine tasting and silent auction held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica was hosted by LA's BEST Friends, a young professionals, philanthropic network dedicated to helping secure the future of LA's BEST.

Second Annual Cycle 4 LA's BEST
Thanks to our 40 teams and more than 550 contributors to our Second Annual Cycle 4 LA's BEST, we raised more than $41,000 for the kids who need it most in Los Angeles. Special thanks to our event partners The Sports Club/LA, Neutrogena and JetBlue.

John Baton is Back for Another First Friday
John C. Mitchell, also known as John Baton, returned to LA's BEST at Crescent Heights Elementary for another BEST Friends First Friday. John taught the students and the BEST Friend volunteers a special baton routine, which included tosses, spins, baton exchanges with partners and a performance at the end.

Park Day 2010
BEST Friends hosted Park Day 2010 at Valley Village Park in North Hollywood. More than 40 BEST Friend volunteers participated in good old-fashioned fun with 100 LA's BEST students from Sylvan Park and Noble Elementary Schools.

UnWINEd with LA's BEST
More than 500 young professionals gathered to taste a variety of wines, cheeses and desserts and to bid on exciting silent auction items at the UnWINEd with LA's BEST event held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica. The event, hosted by LA’s BEST Friends, a young professionals, philanthropic network, raised more than $53,000 for the kids in the LA's BEST After School Enrichment Program.

LA's BEST Friends Casino Night
LA's BEST Casino Night, held on the rooftop at the Marina del Rey Marriott, helped LA's BEST to raise $39,755. More than 350 people joined LA's BEST Friends for a night of gambling, music featuring Frez! and Malakai, and food and drinks to support the LA's BEST After School Enrichment Program. Attendees gambled to win exciting raffle prizes like two round trip tickets on American Airlines and a flight over Los Angeles.
